Spring 2019 registration for girl’s lacrosse is now open. We strongly encourage prior season participants to register early to ensure your daughter’s placement on a team. Based on last season’s numbers, we are anticipating 2 teams at each age level.
SEASON SCHEDULE – Conditioning and evaluations will begin in February. Practices (based on US Lacrosse age group guidelines) will begin mid-March and will last thru the end of the season. Teams typically practice twice per week in the evenings.
GAME SCHEDULE - Teams will play 8 games during the regular season starting March 24th and ending May 20th with the majority of games being played on Sundays. There will be no games scheduled for Easter and Memorial Day weekends. Playoffs will be during the 2 weeks after Memorial Day weekend.
The NVYLL schedule is designed with the intent of having a mix of home and away games. BAC’s home field is the turf field at Lake Braddock High School. NVYLL serves the entire Northern Virginia region, so some away games may require a modest amount of travel (i.e. Fauquier County).
EVALUATIONS – Evaluations will be required for girls at the 3rd-8th grade levels. Dates for evaluations will be in February and announced in January. Grades K-2 will not require evaluations, but are encouraged to attend the evaluation days.
