Please remember that all Volunteers (Coaches, Assistant Coaches, etc.) MUST register every season.

Early Bird Registration for the Fall season is now open.  Early bird fees include a $10 per child discount and will end at midnight June 30.   Fall on-time registration  fees will run through July.   Late fall registration (with $25 added fee) begins Aug 1.  Wait listed late registration (with $50 added fee) will begin September 1.    House season starts  Sept 12.

Congratulations to all the BAC teams that participated in this tournament.  BAC teams played with a lot of enthusiasm and demonstrated exemplary sportmanship.

Beginning in the fall of 2009, there will be separate boys and girls divisions in the U7 age group. 

This will not have any impact on any teams or age groups for this spring season.

This page contains answers to the most frequently asked questions we hear from new soccer parents.  Issues such as age, game format, weather cancellations, uniforms, practices, etc. are all addressed here.

Burke AC will host two camps for BAC players U8 and up who play travel or players that are interested in travel soccer.

There will be two sessions:
	Session 1: July 20-24,     9 am - 12 pm
	Session 2: July 27-July 31,    9 am -12 pm

Grown-Ups Get A Little Coaching In Sportsmanship

Amid the thuds and slaps of a dozen soccer balls and the happy shrieks of 100 running, kicking, laughing children, one sound was absent at a recent soccer practice of the Burke Athletic Club in southwest Fairfax County: grown-ups.

It’s not that the children were unsupervised. But this was Soccer Festival Wednesday, a weekly gathering when coaches put down their whistles, parents rest their vocal cords and children play not for points, not for victory -- but purely for fun.

While the weather didn’t help, Burke AC’s first annual Soocerfest was a HUGE success. With support from our friends at DC United, Washington Freedom, and Goldenboot Soccer, more than 130 kids played games and learned a little more about soccer while the club collected nearly a half ton of food (literally) and enough soccer equipment to fill an entire minivan.

Refund Requests must be made in writing, via US Postal Service or by email to burkeathletic@aol.com, prior to the first scheduled game of the season.  Players that cannot be placed on a team will receive a full refund.  Wait Listed players  that cannot be placed on a team will also receive a full refund. Late registrants requesting a refund will receive amount paid less the $25.00 late fee. Early and on-time players that request to drop prior to the first game will be charged a $10 administrative fee. Administrative fees, donations, and late fees are not refundable. There are no refunds after the first game. Please allow 4-6 weeks to process your request.
