Herndon Fall 2009 All-Stars Cup

Teams from Burke Athletic Club participated in the Herndon Youth Soccer All-Star Tournament 21-22 November, 2009.

Congratulations to all the BAC teams that participated in this tournament.  BAC teams played with a lot of enthusiasm and demonstrated exemplary sportmanship.

Deserving of special recognition are the teams that finished as Champions or Finalists in their respective brackets.

U8 Predators - Carlos Vargas

Undefeated Team (1st Place in Final Standings) U8B Coached by Carlos Vargas After playing 7 mini-games, against seven different clubs, the U8B Predators, Coached by Carlos Vargas ended with a 7-win record, finishing as the only undefeated team in the U8B Red Division.  Players demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship, and great team work. Go Predators!

U14G - Fireboltz, Jason Hirabayashi and Kristin Graf

U14G All Stars Finalists The BAC Fireboltz, our U14 Girls entry in the Herndon All Star Cup was coached by Kristin Graf and Jason Hirabayashi. After finishing the regular season as champions of their division in the Middle School League the Fireboltz played some masterful soccer resulting in their ascension to the champions bracket and ultimately to the championship game its self. The girls played hard and as a result of their mad skills and team work that finished the season as U14G finalists.

U13B - Bombers, Mousa Salah and Kudakwashe Ushe

U13B All Stars Finalists The BAC U13 Boys All Stars team coached by Mousa Salah and Kudakwashe "Kuda" Ushe finished 2nd in their division at the Herndon All Star Cup on Sunday Nov 22nd. The boys played some tough competition and were true warriors on the field never giving up as they strove for excellence.
