Emergency Meeting
June 28, 2007
***Meeting Minutes***
- Meeting Called to Order at 6:32 PM
- The meeting was attended by Mike Thompson, Joey Fuller, Gail Fialkow, April Dougherty and Carol Coulter. This attendance constitutes a quorum.
- No minutes from May were reviewed.
- New Business
- The Board moved to have only one girls U 9 team. This team will be coached by Steve Sinnwell and participate in WAGS. The motion was made by Joey Fuller and seconded by April Dougherty. The motion carried.
- The Board moved to have two U 9 Boys teams that will participate in NCSL. The motion was made by Gail Fialkow and seconded by Joey Fuller. The motion carried.
- April Dougherty made a motion to rescind the previous motion of a U 10 girl’s team. Gail Fialkow seconded the motion and the motion carried.
- Due to the Magic dissolving, the motion was made to not field a U 11 girl’s team by April Dougherty. The motion was seconded by Joey Fuller. The motion carried.
- A discussion was held concerning the rising U 11 boys teams. Lou King has asked to return to BAC with a team. A motion was made by Gail Fialkow to field the two United teams as participants in NCSL and add Lou King’s team in ODSL. If the two United teams were impossible to field as competitive teams to place Lou King’s team in the second NCSL spot. This motion was seconded by Joey Fuller. The motion carried with one abstention from April Dougherty.
- A motion was made by Gail Fialkow to field a third U 12 boy’s team to be placed in ODSL with the coach to be reviewed and suggested by the TTC. The motion was seconded by Mike Thompson. The motion carried.
- A motion was made by Gail Fialkow to field a U 19 team coached by Ivan Ruano. The motion was seconded by April Dougherty and carried.
The Board then moved into Executive Session.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:46 PM
