***Meeting Minutes***
- Meeting Called to Order at 7:38 PM
The meeting was attended by Joey Fuller, Carlos Vargas, Mike Thompson, Bill Bruch, Larry Paul, Debbie Fesko, Mike Bordell, Gail Fialkow, Carol Coulter and April Dougherty
- The minutes were reviewed and approved unanimously by the board. The motion was made by Mike Bordell and seconded by Gail Fialkow.

o The Storage
+ Field & Equipment Administrator (Bill Bruch)
o Goals are being broken down and stored. The boxes will be cleaned out and items will be donated. SYC sent an email looking for the field liner at Rolling Valley.
o Lines will be painted at Burke School for the Summer Festivals.
o Will contact Premier fields to look at White Oaks which seems very wet and swampy.
+ House Commissioner- (Mike Thompson)
o Patches and pins are being developed to hand out at All Stars, Festivals, etc. An example will be brought to a future meeting.
o Coaching issues for the spring season include an 18 year old coach who did not show up for four games and one coach for two teams dropped out. Teenagers covered for him with a parent supervisor.
o A festival for the U 6 – U 10s will take place of one of the weekly practices. Festivals will continue at Burke School
o Need to work on a program that gets volunteer kids to ref the seven and eight year old games.
o All Stars went well for the teams.
+ Travel Commissioner (Mike Bordell)
o Motion to change Travel Policy, December 18, 2007 – WITHDRAWN
o Discussion was held concerning the Travel evaluation, which is part of the Travel Policy to be included on the web site.
o Alianza Coach, Mike Walsh, is relocating to Maryland.
o Mike Bordell made a motion for Jim Crowder to be appointed as the U14 Girls coach. The second was by Gail Fialkow and the motion carried.
o Mike Bordell’s motion was made individually for the following coach and trainer positions. The motion was seconded by April Dougherty The motion carried with an abstention by Gail Fialkow.

o All Stars had very few glitches. The two types of registration caused some problems but were resolved.
+ Technology (Carlos Vargas)
o Registration is live but there have been some database issues.
+ Conduct Committee (Mike Thompson for Sam Abdoulson)
o A discussion was held concerning red cards being reported to the club.
v The season will not accommodate any religious holidays. BRYC seems to be the only club planning to recognize Yom Kippur. However, we will use the Columbus holiday as the priority date for rescheduling, if necessary.
v The season will end on November 3, 2007
- The SFL tournament and all final make up games will be November 10, 2007
v There was discussion concerning a coach’s ability to select a team. The review of the travel policy confirmed the coach chooses the team.
- New Sports for BAC – Mike Thompson
v Think about fencing, bowling or track.
