Registration for Grade 9 class must be done on-line at www.vadcsoccerref.com

Classes will meet Saturday 2/23 at South Run Rec Center field #5 for field training from 9:00 to 2:00 then on Sunday 2/24 class will meet at Pohick Library from 12:00 - 6:00 PM for class work and the test.   As a Grade 9 referee, you will be certified for recreational games.   This certification will also qualify you for the STAR program for NCSL/WAGS.

Remember Grade refers to the level of referee, NOT school grade. 

GRADE 9 Referee  - If you are a Grade 9 referee, you are eligible to do recreational games. A majority of these games are played on Saturdays.  You could be assigned centers from U9 through U14 level.  You could be an assistant referee for up to the 14 year old level.  After the first year of refereeing, you should be thinking of taking the Upgrade 8 clinic to move up to a Grade 8 referee.  Tournaments do use Grade 9 referees as ARs up to the 14 year old level.

Attention referees: Time to recertify! Registration for ALL classes is now being done on-line. Please go to www.vadcsoccerref.com, click on New registration, fill in the form and submit, then choose a class to attend.

Remember: GRADE refers to referee level NOT school. UPGRADE classes are for those that are already referees and looking to move up to the next level. Payment can now be done on-line or at the first class. Cost of the classes is now split. You will first pay a fee to the National office to register as a referee $25.00, then when you choose a class you will pay a fee to the State of $20.00. When you pay at the class you will bring one check for $45 made out to the "State Referee Program"
